It's very simple. I love the French language, and I love being able to earn a living by sharing what I know with others. I've run the highly successful French language site at About.com since 1999, but that site is subject to certain restrictions. This site, on the other hand, is entirely under my control, so I can do some different things here.

I am happy to provide the resources on this site to you, the readers, free of charge and without any sort of a guilt trip. However, please understand that it takes a great deal of time and effort.
